ASNR

COMMITTEES

Reporting to the ASNR Board of Directors, committees are an integral component in the operations of the Society. Committees generate ideas and solve problems, drive the operating programs, monitor and report on programs, represent and involve members, and are the training ground for future Society leaders.

A call for committee volunteers goes out annually in December-January and interested members are invited to apply.

Year-Round Volunteer Opportunities

ASNR offers a number of year-round volunteer opportunities in addition to committees. The following opportunities are available:

  • Social Media Contributor: Year-round assistance with sharing important and helpful information by sharing/retweeting ASNR social media messages to your individual networks; time commitment is minimal, as ASNR social messages come out. Additional opportunities include providing the ASNR Marketing and Social Media Manager with links to published research (yours or others) and other pertinent information to be shared via the ASNR social media channels; time commitment is minimal, as relevant links/information becomes available.
  • Annual Meeting Abstract Reviewer: Review 20-30 abstracts on a specific topic for potential ASNR Annual Meeting content; time commitment is 2-3 hours in late fall each year.
  • Webinar Content Contributor: Submit topics, content and speakers for, as well as present and moderate during ASNR’s weekly webinar series.
  • Virtual International Speaker: Volunteer to participate in virtual case conferences, lectures, or mentoring.
