Subcommittee of Program

Purpose

The Education Exhibits Committee primary responsibility is to oversee the selection, review, and execution of ASNR Education Exhibits at the annual meeting. Additionally, the Education Exhibits Committee seeks to advance and elevate the ASNR Education Exhibits by managing awards given out at the annual meeting for best exhibits in related categories.

  • Works with ASNR Staff in establishing the Call for Abstracts section pertaining to Education Exhibits
  • Works with ASNR Staff in creating and implementing related presenter policies and submission guidelines
  • Organizes, assigns and conducts reviews of education exhibit abstracts
  • Makes final determination of accepted abstracts
  • Judges all Education Exhibits at the annual meeting to determine award winners
  • Works with ASNR Staff in announcing and promoting the Education Exhibit Awards at the annual meeting
  • Provides on-site support to Headquarters Staff in the setup, operation, and dismantle of Education, Exhibits (as-needed)
  • To initiates innovations relating to Education Exhibits

Time Commitment

The committee holds monthly conference calls and meets in-person twice a year.
